Snow on Objects

Snow on Objects

Snow lands where it falls. How much snow stays there depends on the nature of the surface. Objects can be dressed with various snow products. Display Snow Fine, Display Snow Medium, Glitter Snow, Movie Snow HSX and FSX are all suitable for dressing purposes. Display Snow and Glitter Snow should always be dressed from above. Movie Snow contains dust and the object you want to dress should always be sprayed with a fine mist of water before hand to allow the snow to stick.

Snow on Models

Snow on Models

When using snow on models the size of the snow needs to be in proportion to the size of the model. We also have snow for the smaller scale of life. Display Snow Fine, Frost Powder, Glitter Snow and Movie Snow HSX can all be used when dressing models. The best results are achieved when applying the snow to the model with a sieve. This ensures only the finer flakes land on the model. If a cold frosty feeling is what you want then we have the products for that effect too. Frost effects can be achieved by using Movie Snow HSX and Frost Powder. These are best applied to the model by a sieve. Please spray a fine mist of water over the model before applying the products.

Snowdrifts

Snowdrifts

Snow falls, the wind blows and a snowdrift has been created. Snowdrifts can be achieved by using the four types of Display Snow. Display Snow Coarse or Display Snow Oversize can be used to create the basis, to create the required depth. The softer finish and surface are achieved by applying Display Snow medium and fine to the snow drift. Finish your snowdrift off with a light sprinkle of Glitter Snow.

Snow Surface

Snow Surface

There are all sorts of snow surfaces. The consistence depends on the type of snow which has fallen. Snow surfaces can be created with the following products. Display Snow Fine, Display Snow Medium and Movie Snow HSX. Just open the packaging and scatter the contents onto the floor until you have your required depth. It couldn't be easier.

Slush

Slush

Slush is partly melted snow or ice. Slush can be achieved by using Magic Snow.
Take a bucket and mix one part Magic Snow with 25 parts water. The Magic Snow absorbs the water and expands. The more water you add the wetter the snow becomes. Please be careful when using Magic Snow as it is very slippery. Only dispose of Magic Snow in the dustbin and not down a drain.
